Las Vegas Vintage Neighborhood Guide
As someone who’s spent years exploring the hidden corners of Las Vegas, I put together this guide for visitors who are curious about the city’s vintage neighborhoods—places with character, history, and architecture that reflect a very different side of Vegas. If you venture just north of the Strip, the Beverly Green District and Paradise Village offer a mix of ranch-style and mid-century homes set on spacious lots with mature trees. These areas were once home to entertainers, professionals, and families who helped shape the city in its earlier days. There's a quiet charm here that’s hard to find elsewhere in town.
Another favorite of mine is the Huntridge neighborhood, known for its 1940s-era Minimal Traditional cottages. These homes may be modest in size, but they have real personality, and many have been beautifully preserved. Walking through Huntridge gives you a sense of what life was like in Las Vegas long before the mega-resorts and high-rises arrived.
If you want to see even more of the city's architectural heritage, take time to explore the John S. Park Historic Neighborhood and the Scotch 80s. These communities tell their own stories through distinctive home styles, generous lots, and a long list of notable past residents. They’re a reminder that Las Vegas isn’t just about the glitz—it’s also a city with roots, neighborhoods, and layers worth discovering.
