You must be very careful when shipping 78 rpms via the mail. Unlike CDs (and even vinyl records), 78s are very fragile and break easily.
78 rpm Shipping Tips
- Place the 78 rpm in between two pieces of currogated cardboard (alternating the direction the ribs are running) and tape this securely.
- Place this into a box with an inch or two space around the whole thing. Make sure you use packing peanuts all around the 78 rpm.
Making sure you pack your 78s correctly can help make sure they get to their destination in one piece.
